In Kalamazoo, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Michigan vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach J J Repair Services at (269) 382-3130; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 44 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Kalamazoo and suggests consistent service.

I requested an estimate on repairs to my Honda 450 Rebel motorcycle. I hadn't heard from them and called only to find out the owner had put in $1000 of work already. Don't go here unless you want to get ripped off. Had I'd know I'd need another couple hundred in addition to that I'd of said no !

These guys were extremely patient and very reasonable with pricing. My truck wouldn’t start and they worked fast to find the problem and got my truck back running perfectly. I would definitely recommend going to J.J.’s for any repairs.
